Last Sunday, February 13th, Lee Baptist Church enjoyed our annual Valentine's Soup Smorgasbord. Ladies in the church brought delicious soups, breads, and desserts to share. Some couples also shared the stories of how they met and married their spouse.
In the evening service we had our first memory verse review night. Last year we started David Cloud's Memory Verse Journal plan; each week we would memorize the scheduled verse/verses and in the Sunday evening service we would answer questions about them. We have grown closer to the Lord and to each other while studying these verses together. On our memory review night everyone had opportunities to recite verses and win prizes. It was a special time of fellowship together.
